Astronomy Lab 2 for Windows 4.0, Windows NT, and Win32s generates animated movies that simulate a host of astronomical phenomena, graphs that illustrate many fundamental concepts of astronomy, and reports that predict the most important astronomical events. The following instructions are for Windows 3.1 users planning to run Astronomy Lab 2 using Win32s. Required Hardware: 386/486 computer with at least 4 MB of memory. Required Software: Windows 3.1 in enhanced mode and Win32s (included). Win32s: Win32s is software that allows many 32 bit Windows programs, like Astronomy Lab 2, to run under Windows 3.1. Installation: 1. Unzip win32s.zip. 2. Run the Win32s setup.exe program from Windows. 3. Unzip alw200.zip. 4. Run the Astronomy Lab 2 setup.exe program from Windows. 5. Astronomy Lab 2 is now installed and ready to run. Read the "readme.wri" file installed alongside Astronomy Lab 2 for additional information. Win32s is copyrighted by Microsoft and is used by permission of Microsoft. Win32s can only be distributed as part of another application, like Astronomy Lab 2.
